Launceston is the closest Tasmanian city to Bridestowe Estate. Daily flights into the historic riverside city are available from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane through Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar or Tiger Air.
Once in Tasmania, you can weave your way through the countryside to us by:
Take the B81 highway from Launceston for approximately 50 kilometres (45 minutes) through the forests and farmland of northern Tasmania to Bridestowe Estate at 296 Gillespies Road, Nabowla.

- Shuttle – new service!
The easiest new way to make it out to us is to book a seat with Saintys Shuttle, running between Launceston and Bridestowe once per day. Your shuttle will travel through the picturesque North East region via the historic village of Lilydale on your way to Bridestowe, allowing time to enjoy the Estate at a leisurely pace before your return trip to Launceston. Tours depart at 2.00pm from Launceston Visitor Information Centre, on the corner of St John and Cameron Streets.

- Private tour
If you’re travelling as part of a larger group or simply want to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery from the passenger seat, a private tour is just for you. Prestige Leisure Tours and Beyond Urban Tours both offer private tours to our lavender farm, with full and half day options available.
- Public transport
The North East Bus Service operates a once daily passenger service to Bridestowe Estate from Monday to Friday (except public holidays). This is a great option if you’d like to spend the day wandering through the lavender fields, enjoy a leisurely lunch in our café and explore our vintage farm equipment, distillery and extensive gardens.The bus leaves from the Launceston Transit Centre at 8:00 am, arriving at Bridestowe at 8:45am. The return bus leaves the Estate at 3:45pm and arrives in Launceston at 4:30pm.
