Have a question for us? We probably have the answer for you below! If not please contact our friendly team and they’ll be happy to help.
Q. How do you get to Bridestowe Lavender Estate?
A. You can find directions and more information on getting to Bridestowe, by clicking here
Q. I’d like to host an event/wedding at Bridestowe, how many people can you cater for? Who is the best person to contact to organise this?
A. We are open for requests for proposals, elopements and commitment ceremonies and any other small gathering. Please contact us directly.
Q. From what date in December to what date in January is full bloom?
A. As with any plant or flower we are completely controlled by nature as to when our fields are in ‘full bloom’ so we can’t guarantee a particular date unfortunately. If you’re wanting to book a trip around seeing Bridestowe in bloom, we recommend coming between mid-December to mid-January.
We recommend you follow our social pages for the most up to date information and flower conditions.
Q. What days are you open?
A. We’re open everyday except for Christmas from 9am to 5pm. Winter hours may apply.
Q. Is there an entry fee all year round?
A. No, an entry fee only applies between December and January during our peak season, every other month is free.
Q. What is there to do at Bridestowe when the lavender isn’t in bloom?
A. There’s lots to do at any time of the year at Bridestowe. Here are some strictly off season perks to entice you;
- Entry charges only apply from December-January while flowers are blooming. So outside of these months you can wander across our fields for free!
- You can explore without restriction in the off season. We know that Bridestowe can get a bit busy during peak season, but at all other times of the year you can enjoy the beauty of our vast farm and gardens without the extra crowds.
- There’s treats to enjoy all year round! Purple treats (like our famous ice cream!) aren’t restricted to one season of the year, we offer all our lavender treats and products all year round!
- Our cafe and gift shop are open from 9am-5pm so you can enjoy a delicious pitstop and find a great pressie for a loved one (or yourself!) on your way out.
Q. I’d like to organise a photo shoot at Bridestowe, how do I go about this?
A. Bridestowe Lavender Estate welcomes commercial photographers onto its premises year-round, however there are separate rules depending on if it’s for personal or commercial use. Head to our page on filming, photography and drone use HERE for more information and contact details. For any out of hours requests we advise you to contact us directly.
Q. Can I bring my pet with me to Bridestowe? I’ve seen lovely photos of dogs in your fields!
A. Yes you can bring your pet with you to Bridestowe! We just ask that you keep them on a leash and pick up after them to keep our fields looking beautiful.
Q. I’ve seen beautiful images of families, pets and even horse and riders in your fields! Do you organise these photoshoots? Where can I book?
A. We welcome lots of photographers to our fields every year, but this isn’t an option we offer directly through Bridestowe.
Some photographers we recommend are;
For horse and rider shoots; Farm Life Photography
For dog/animal related shoots; Shywolf Photography, Daniel Towns Pet Photography and Fur Babies & Friends Photography.
For family/portrait or romantic shoots; Nic Betts, Luelle Images, Tassie Visuals, The Socialty, Melanie Kate and Fiona Vail.
If you enquire with a photographer they will be able to provide you with a quote and further liaise with someone in our team to book you in to have your shoot at Bridestowe.
Q. I’d like to stock Bridestowe products in my store, can you send me wholesale information?
For all wholesale, export and distribution enquiries please see HERE.
Q. Can I expect to see lavender at any other time in the year?
There is a chance of seeing lavender in late spring but the best time to visit if you’re after fields of purple is from December to January. You can always expect lots of lavender in our cafe and gift shop all year round, however!
