Lavender Blueberry and Ginger Slice

185g melted butter
1 cup sugar
125g roughly chopped ginger
Slivered almonds to decorate
1 1/2 cup plain flour
1 cup blueberries (frozen is ok but ensure they are defrosted)
1 tablespoon of Bridestowe gourmet Culinary Lavender
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl mix butter, sugar and egg until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in sifted flour, ginger and Culinary Lavender until well combined.
Gently mix in blueberries.
Once mixture is in the tray, top with slivered almonds and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Allow to cool in pan and store in an airtight container.
