What Can I Do At Bridestowe?
Bridestowe Lavender Estate is a highly seasonal business with a number of different working areas – Retail, Cafe, Manufacturing, Farming, Gardening, Warehousing and Distribution, for example.
We typically require a large number of casuals during the Summer months (December & January) to assist us in the Retails, Cafe & Visitor support areas and we start our recruitment process for those positions in August.
Full-time and Part-time permanent roles typically are offered to people who have worked with us in a casual role unless there is a specific skill set or capability that we have identified as missing from our current roster.
What Do I Need to Work at Bridestowe?
We require any applicant to live within driving distance of Bridestowe (our nearest town is Scottsdale and the nearest city is Launceston) and have reliable transport and an Australian Drivers Licence (there are no public transport options to Bridestowe). Applicants must already have the right to work in Australia. Applicants must be well presented, able to work safely at a fast pace and be available for work on weekends and public holidays. Fluent English skills are mandatory but having the ability to speak a second language (Such as Mandarin, Cantonese, French or Bahasa) is also valued by us given the large number of international visitors we receive each year. Cafe skills and experience, particularly Barista experience, are particularly welcomed.
