Lavender Linen Spray

Makes approximately 250ml

Ingredients:

80ml Witch Hazel (or Vodka)
20 drops Bridestowe Estate Lavender Oil
150ml Bridestowe Estate Lavender Hydrosol (or Water)

Directions:

Linen sprays were traditionally used to revive tired laundry and linens, keeping them fresh. They can be used on all forms of natural woven materials, such as clothing and furnishings but, as always, spot test a small area before using. This mixture can also be used as a nightly pillow spray to help create a calm environment before bedtime. The use of combined Bridestowe oil and hydrosol provides the maximum benefit, however you may choose to substitute in some of your favourite essential oils such as citrus or rose to create your own signature scent.

In a clean 250ml spray bottle combine the witch hazel and Bridestowe Estate Lavender Oil. Replace the top of the spray bottle and shake for 20 seconds until the two ingredients are fully combined. When fully combined, remove the sprayer again and fill the bottle remainder with Bridestowe Estate Lavender Hydrosol. Replace the spray unit and shake again.

Natural Kitchen Cleaner

Ingredients:

250ml lavender hydrosol 2 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp borax
2 tsp natural liquid soap or dish washing detergent

Directions:

This simple alternative to harsh chemical cleaners will leave your kitchen sparkling. The lavender hydrosol has a mild antiseptic and antibacterial effect and the other ingredients help to cut through grease and grime. This mixture is safe for use around children and pets with no residual fumes.

To create, combine all ingredients in a large, clean spray bottle and shake well until the baking soda has dissolved. Spray directly on the surface and wipe off with an open weave cotton cloth.

Spot test before use.
