Lavender Shortbread
Makes: 12
Ingredients:
225g plain flour
115g rice flour
250g softened butter
115g caster sugar
1.5 tablespoons Bridestowe Culinary Lavender
Method
Sift plain flour and rice flour together. Add Bridestowe Culinary Lavender and sugar.
Rub in butter and knead into a smooth dough.
Turn onto a floured surface and shape as desired. Place on a baking tray and prick with a fork. Sprinkle with a little caster sugar.
Bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 30-45 minutes, or until lightly golden.
