Visit Bridestowe Estate

Our estate is open to visitors year-round, bringing a new view each season as you admire the curved rows that make Bridestowe Estate so iconic.

Our beloved “Festival of Flowers” is held in December and January, when our fields bloom. Experiencing the rows of purple is a must-do on many Tasmanian bucket lists. December and January are the two times of year that there is a gate fee to visit the estate, the rest of the year is free entry.

Our cafe is also open all year, with delicious lavender treats that will make your mouth water.

Best of all? We are dog-friendly. We simply ask that you keep your dog on a leash and pick up after them so that we can keep our plants and wildlife safe.

When Does the Lavender Flower?

The iconic “purple carpet” that many people dream of seeing is during December and January. But it is always up to Mother Nature to determine when exactly we will be spoilt with the very best views in that time.

Please note, there is an entry fee during December and January. Tickets can be pre-purchased online or at the gate.
