Recipe: Golden Butter Cake With Lavender & Rhubarb Syrup

One of our favourite specials to make on the farm, the syrup is an ideal accompaniment to this warm, buttery cake. It’s simple, but an absolute crowd pleaser. Cup of hot chocolate garnished with whipped cream, on a wooden table decorated with lavender buds.

Lavender Hot Chocolate

Inspired by the decadent style of an Italian hot chocolate, this simple recipe will give you an indulgent winter treat in less than five minutes. This drink will only be as good as your chocolate, so we used and recommend Lindt. The dark chocolate brings a depth of flavour that complements the lavender, while the white chocolate sweetens the flavour and […]

Recipe: Palmiers with a Bridestowe Bouquet Glaze

Sometimes called “Elephant Ears” for their distinctive shape, palmiers are an easy option to serve with an afternoon tea, or a light accompaniment with coffee after dinner. For serious dessert lovers, they are a decadent addition to an ice cream sundae. Using our hand blended Bridestowe Bouquet tea, we created a fragrant glaze that includes flavours of ginger, […]

Recipe: Lavender Scones

We bake a fresh batch of lavender scones to serve to our farm visitors every single day. During peak season, we need to bake up to six times a day just to keep the crowds happy! This recipe produces classic scones with a fluffy inside, golden outside and a light lavender flavour. These quantities will yield about […]
